Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a QA Professional to participate in test planning and design reviews, develop automated tests in Java, and execute validations across UI, API, and DB layers. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and shared services to implement test automation within an Agile environment.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on automation experience, familiarity with CI/CD, and knowledge of Serenity, Selenium, and Cucumber frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study or equivalent relevant experience.
• minimum 2 years of hands on automated test coding experience using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#).
• Experience with CI/CD; Behavior Driven Development (Cucumber); Java (including frameworks such as Spring and Springboot).
• Experience with Serenity and/or Cucumber; Functional/Integration/System/UA testing; REST/SOAP web services and APIs; SQL.

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA activities including test case, requirements and design reviews.
• Executes test events (test plan, tests/scripts, schedule management, test report).
• Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Collaborates with developers, shared services, and product managers to define automated testing components.
• Develops automation components for validating requirements against software.
• Runs validations across DB, rules, logging, reporting, and UI; supports CI integration.
• Contributes to cross-functional teamwork within the Agile lifecycle.
