Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company in Olympia, WA seeks a QA Automation Engineer to participate in QA activities across the project, perform test events, and document results.

You will develop automated test scripts in Java for web front-end and microservice architecture, collaborate with developers, product managers, and CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to agile ceremonies within a federal IT program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study or equivalent relevant experience.
• minimum 2 years of hands on automated test coding experience using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#).

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA activities including test case, requirements and design reviews.
• Executes test events (test plan, test scripts, schedule management, test report, test event).
• Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Works with developers, shared services and product managers to define automated testing components.
• Drives test automation techniques across the team.
• Develops using Java and executes automated tests on Web Front end and microservice architecture.
• Performs validations at DB, rules, logging, reporting, and UI levels.
• Contributes to Agile project lifecycle and Scrum Team estimation.
