Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Software QA Automation Engineer II to design, implement and maintain automated tests for mission systems software. The role collaborates with development and system test teams while operating with a good degree of autonomy.

The candidate should have 2–5 years in QA automation, proficiency in Python and one or more languages (C/C++, Java, C#/.NET), and experience with automation frameworks and CI pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years in Software QA automation with scripting in Python.
• Experience with automation frameworks and CI pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, expand and maintain automated test suites and frameworks.
• Collaborate with development and system test teams with autonomy.
• Plan scopes, benchmarks and goals for manual and automated work.
• Support bug reporting, risk assessment and mitigation.
• Mentor junior QA team members and participate in code reviews.
