Job summary

AeroVironment, based in California, is seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester / QA Analyst to ensure quality and reliability of our software products. You will develop test plans, execute manual and automated tests, document defects, and collaborate with engineers to verify fixes.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in CS or related field, 5+ years of experience, familiarity with testing methodologies, strong communication skills, and an active TS/SCI with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in software testing.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and defect tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests for functionality, performance and security.
• Identify, document and track defects using tracking tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Perform regression, integration and acceptance testing on code.
