Job summary

Pavago is hiring a senior QA Automation Engineer to own and extend the test automation framework. This remote role focuses on Playwright, TypeScript, and end-to-end testing to improve release confidence and catch issues before production.

You will work with frontend and backend engineers, reduce flaky tests, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while exploring AI-assisted testing workflows to boost coverage and reliability.

You’ll take hands‑on ownership of:

Required Experience & Skills

Core Requirements

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright
• Strong Cypress experience with willingness to transition to Playwright may also be considered
• Proven experience building and maintaining E2E automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of:
  • DOM interaction
  • Network requests
  • Asynchronous application behavior
  • Test synchronization
