Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) seeks a QA-focused Records Specialist to ensure accuracy in workflow processes, Voluntary Additional Contributions processing, and designation of beneficiary forms.

The role involves verifying enrollments, reviewing beneficiary designations, and assigning documents to the correct queues. It also includes QA testing, reporting, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 2+ years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with QA in records processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process enrollments for the Voluntary Additional Plan.
• Review designation of beneficiary forms for active, inactive, and retired members.
• Reassign incoming packages to correct queues.
• Perform QA in Kofax when data-entry conflicts arise.
• Assist with testing and development of system enhancements.
• Assist with Offsite Storage contents management.
• Train and serve as backup for the Office Services Analyst QA function.
• Contact employers, IMRF members, or staff to resolve QA or audit questions.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports as requested.
• Assist in other Records duties such as indexing and data entry.
