Job summary
Selective Insurance is seeking an Sr. Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated UI and API testing frameworks across multiple projects.
You will collaborate with Automation Architects, Senior QE, developers and QA peers to ensure robust test coverage and high-quality software delivery. Responsibilities emphasize driving automation efforts, building scalable test solutions, and applying AI-enabled testing approaches while adhering to Agile and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on Software Testing, Development and/or Test Management experience.
- Experience with BDD and TDD a plus.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure cloud testing platforms a plus.
- Experienced with UI and Rest API automation.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for developing and the effective and timely completion of UI and API automation test activities across multiple projects.
- Maintain knowledge of current test automation processes and best practices.
- Provide ROMs and forecast resource needs for automation projects.
- Establish metrics for productivity, progress and automation effectiveness.
