Job summary

Verisk Maplecroft is hiring a Software Test Engineer to perform both manual and automated testing of applications supporting business objectives. You will lead test design for websites, APIs, and infrastructure, writing automated tests and validating AI-driven solutions in an Agile environment.

You’ll collaborate with business analysts and product owners to ensure migration readiness, while guiding junior testers and ensuring high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of software testing in a team environment.
• 2-3 years of UI automation with Selenium WebDriver in Python, C#, or Java.
• 2-3 years of API testing with Python/Java.
• 2-3 years of API/performance testing with JMeter.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis to develop test cases and scripts for websites, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Perform manual testing and script automated tests to ensure quality.
• Test and validate AI-driven solutions and automate regression tests in Agile settings.
• Liaise with business analyst and product owner on migrations readiness.
• Provide technical guidance to junior testers and team members.
