Job summary

Alabama Outdoors is seeking an Operations Assistant to support back-of-house operations during Q4. You will help manage inventory, transfers, and fulfillment, while occasionally assisting on the sales floor. This temporary position offers growth opportunities and a flexible schedule.

Work under the Operations Manager to keep warehouse processes accurate and efficient, with duties spanning receiving, staging, cycle counts, and e-commerce fulfillment during peak season.

Qualifications

• Organized and detail-oriented approach required.
• Strong communication and follow-through essential.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or inventory roles preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with POS systems and Excel a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flex schedule during Q4.
• Willingness to assist on sales floor when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, tagging, and staging inventory.
• Support transfers, returns, RTVs, and replenishment activities.
• Help fulfill e-commerce and store-to-customer orders.
• Maintain organized warehouse and backstock areas.
• Support daily replenishment from backstock to sales floor.
