Job summary

Alabama Outdoors is seeking an organized Operations Manager to oversee all back-of-house functions, including inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and e-commerce fulfillment. Light guest-facing duties may occur to support sales.

The role emphasizes operational excellence and staff development in a fast-paced retail environment. You will manage receiving, cycle counts, transfers, and replenishment while ensuring accurate reporting and efficient warehouse workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail operations, warehouse management, or inventory control.
• Previous supervisory experience in back-of-house or logistics preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and POS back-end systems for reporting, tracking, and operational needs.
• Excellent communication and follow-through skills.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50-pound boxes or racks.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Confidence in managing inventory processes, warehouse operations, shipment processing, and replenishment.
• Willingness to provide light guest-facing support when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receiving, processing, and staging of all new inventory.
• Ensure accurate transfers, returns, RTVs, and replenishment.
• Oversee e-commerce and store-to-guest fulfillment.
• Maintain reporting and communication of inventory needs.
• Organize and maintain warehouse and backstock areas.
