Job summary

Alabama Outdoors is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee all back-of-house functions at the Mobile store. You will manage inventory reception, staging, transfers, RTVs, replenishment, and oversee e-commerce fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timely processes.

This role emphasizes operational excellence with occasional light guest-facing duties. Strong Excel and POS back-end proficiency, plus leadership in back-of-house teams, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail operations, warehouse management, or inventory control.
• Supervisory experience in back-of-house or logistics preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and POS back-end systems for reporting, tracking, and operational needs.
• Excellent communication and follow-through skills.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, processing, and staging of all new inventory.
• Ensure accurate transfers, returns, RTVs, and replenishment.
• Oversee e-commerce and store-to-guest fulfillment.
• Maintain reporting and communication of inventory needs.
• Organize and maintain warehouse/backstock areas.
• Light guest-facing support when needed.
