We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong expertise in Angular and SQL to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building robust backend services using Python, developing responsive front-end applications with Angular, and working extensively with relational databases.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $90k - $100k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Angular.
• Build RESTful APIs and backend services using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end components using Angular.
• Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Create, optimize, and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with Angular (v10+).
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and database optimization.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices architecture, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of security best practices and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
