Our client, a large international commodity trading company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Python Developer to work extensively with diverse datasets and data sources, build insightful visualizations, and rapidly prototype web-based data applications.

Responsibilities

• Work with structured and unstructured data from various sources (APIs, databases, files, etc.);Clean, transform, and analyze datasets using Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy;Build interactive data visualizations and dashboards to support business decisions;Develop quick prototypes and lightweight web-based tools using Jupyter, Plotly, Dash, Streamlit, or similar frameworks;Automate data ingestion and processing workflows;Document code, workflows, and applications for internal and external use;

SKILLS

Must have

• Strong proficiency in Python, particularly for data manipulation and analysis;Experience with Pandas, NumPy, and Jupyter Notebooks;Familiarity with at least one Python-based visualization library (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or Altair);Experience developing interactive web apps using Dash, Streamlit, or similar toolsUnderstanding of REST APIs, JSON, and data integration best practices;Working knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases;Ability to work independently and translate business problems into technical solutions;Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset;
