Job description

Phoenix Cyberis looking for security-focused Python programmers to develop custom plugins and third-party integrations for a cybersecurity software product. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing data models, index structures, storage strategies, and processing pipelines using log aggregation tools like Elasticsearch and Splunk. The role involves enriching and querying big data.

This is a 100% remote, work-from-home position anywhere in the continental United States.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years of strong Python programming experience
2. Experience in developing Python libraries
3. Experience with REST and SOAP APIs for data querying and updates across applications
4. Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and development tools
5. Experience with cloud infrastructure and networking in AWS and/or Azure
6. Degree in a STEM discipline and/or at least 5 years of cybersecurity experience

Nice to have:

1. Experience with SOAR tools like Swimlane, Cyber Triage, Phantom
2. Experience with ELK stack, Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes, Kafka, Beats, and Splunk
3. Database modeling experience, especially with MongoDB
4. Configuration management with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet
5. Experience with container services like Docker and Kubernetes
6. Linux administration skills
7. Active (ISC)2 CISSP certification
