Phoenix Cyber is seeking security-focused Python programmers to develop custom plugins and third-party integrations for a cybersecurity software product. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing data models, index structures, storage strategies, and data normalization using log aggregation tools like Elasticsearch and Splunk. You will also be involved in enriching data during ingestion and querying, as well as creating queries against large datasets.

This is a 100% remote, work-from-home position available anywhere in the continental United States.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of strong Python programming experience
• Experience in developing Python libraries
• Experience using REST and SOAP APIs to query and update data across multiple third-party applications
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and other development tools
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and networking in AWS and/or Azure
• Degree in a STEM discipline and/or at least 5 years of cybersecurity experience

Nice to have:

• Experience with SOAR tools such as Swimlane, Cyber Triage, Phantom
• Experience with the ELK stack, Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK), Kafka, Beats, and/or Splunk
• Database modeling experience, especially with MongoDB
• Configuration management skills with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet
• Experience with container services like Docker and Kubernetes
