Job description

Phoenix Cyberis seeking security-focused Python programmers to develop custom plugins and third-party integrations for a commercial cybersecurity software product. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing data models, index structures, storage strategies, and handling data ingestion, normalization, and querying using tools like Elasticsearch and Splunk.

This is a fully remote, work-from-home position available across the continental United States.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Python programming experience
• Experience creating Python libraries
• Proficiency with REST and SOAP APIs for data querying and updates
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure and networking
• Degree in a STEM field or at least 5 years of cybersecurity experience

Nice to have:

• Experience with SOAR tools like Swimlane, Cyber Triage, Phantom
• Knowledge of ELK stack, Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes, Kafka, Beats, Splunk
• Database modeling experience, especially with MongoDB
• Configuration management skills with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet
• Container services experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Active (ISC)2 CISSP certification
