Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is seeking a Printed Wire Board (PWB) Designer to join the Engineering Services Group. This on-site role offers flexibility to work from home part-time depending on project needs.

The designer will coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineers to place and route components on complex PCBs and generate fabrication drawings, supporting schematic and CAD library work.

Qualifications

• PWB layouts of basic complexity performed to spec.
• Maintain design docs under senior design specialist guidance.
• Assist in schematic release and library entries.

Responsibilities

• Performs PWB layouts of basic complexity.
• Maintains design docs under senior design specialist guidance.
• Assists in release of schematic file.
• Creates PWB symbols and submits for review.
• Completes tasks within time, improving skills with tools.
• Follows department procedures and team guidelines.
