Job summary

Moog is seeking an Associate Design Engineer, PWB Design in Buffalo, NY. You will design complex PWBs and CCAs for space applications, translating requirements into schematics, layouts, and manufacturing data.

You will collaborate with electrical, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure data integrity and program success. You will also guide drafting staff as needed, create detailed drawings, and help maintain accurate BOMs within Teamcenter and Moog processes.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or technical degree required.
• Or an Associate’s Degree with 2+ years PCB layout experience.
• Familiarity with IPC, Space, Military and Commercial standards.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into Schematics, Netlists, PWB layouts, and data for fabrication and manufacturing.
• Ensure data integrity of Schematic, PWB layout, BOM, and Manufacturing data.
• Direct drafting personnel as needed following Moog processes.
• Create and check drawings; ensure BOM accuracy in PLM/MBS.
• Contribute to cost-effective design through collaboration with design and manufacturing.
• Suggest materials for non-critical situations to meet design needs.
