Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney Bridgeport, WV FAA-regulated facility seeks an assembler for the PW800 engines. You will work the 5th shift, Fri-Sun 5pm-5am, assembling components per manuals and service bulletins while upholding EH&S and quality standards.

You will perform sub-assembly, balancing, main assembly and packing in the repair/overhaul area and coordinate parts and tooling to meet daily targets. This is an onsite role with strict safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Powerplant license required at hire.
• 3+ years specialized training in aviation maintenance, assembly or test of gas turbine engines or similar aircraft systems.
• Experience on Pratt & Whitney engines and engine assembly procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work from manuals, service bulletins and other technical instructions.
• Use hand tools, precision measuring equipment, special tooling and gauges.
• Coordinate parts, consumables and non-product material movements.
• Assemble to ensure standard work and methodologies and meet daily targets.
• Support Continuous Improvement, Quality, EH&S and operations initiatives.
• Perform other related duties and escalate team challenges to Supervisor.
