Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV is seeking an Assembly Technician to work on the PW800 engine line. You will follow manuals and instructions, perform sub-assembly, balancing, main assembly and packing, and ensure EH&S and quality standards are met.

This on-site role uses hand tools and precision gauges, operates on the 5th shift (Fri-Sun, 5pm–5am) after training on other shifts if needed, and includes safety-sensitive requirements and FAA testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active Powerplant license at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assemble engines and components per manuals and drawings.
• Balance, sub-assembly, main assembly and packing of PW800 engines.
• Ensure EH&S and quality standards are followed.
• Coordinate parts, tools and materials movements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and policies.
