Job summary

Ford Dearborn is seeking a quality/engineering professional to lead warranty analysis, containment, and root-cause investigations for UNSE within the Dearborn Truck Plant. The role focuses on data-driven problem solving, cross-functional teamwork, and coordinating with sister plants to prevent issues from leaving the assembly line.

You will develop and manage SIMPSN projects, support 6 Sigma initiatives, and present findings in weekly and monthly quality reviews, driving Vehicle Line objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
• 3+ years experience in Program, Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering.
• Six Sigma training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead IRIS warranty analysis and root cause investigations with dealerships and fleets.
• Coordinate with Kansas City Assembly Plant to contain issues before shipment.
• Develop, manage and own SIMPSN projects to track quality actions and improvements.
• Present findings in quarterly and monthly quality reviews and participate in DQR/VRT/VQR meetings.
