Job summary

Ford Model e U.S. in Chicago is seeking seasoned quality engineers to lead containment and corrective actions for high-volume automotive programs. You will apply root cause analysis and Six Sigma methodologies to rapidly resolve issues and prevent recurrence.

You will work with GSAR, JIRA, QED, AIMS, WERS, and IRIS/SIMPSN to support new model launches and ongoing manufacturing quality improvements. Collaboration across teams is essential to drive robust, safe vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience with quality containment and corrective actions.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with quality and engineering systems such as GSAR, JIRA, QED, AIMS, WERS, and IRIS/SIMPSN.

Responsibilities

• Quality containment and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Support root cause analyses and drive interim/permanent corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the escalation and resolution of quality issues.
