Job summary

Texas Instruments in Sherman, Texas is seeking a PVD Process Development Engineer to own the development, integration, and qualification of PVD for LBC11 flows, enabling TI's technology ramp from development to high-volume manufacturing. The Epi processes developed will run on every wafer at SMFAB.

You will drive DOE, data analysis, and design of experiments, and work with multiple engineers to ensure performance meets critical device parameters.

Responsibilities

• Drive PVD process and device improvements through characterization, test, design of experiments, data analysis and simulation
• Work with multiple process, integration, reliability, packaging and test engineers to achieve these goals
• Work closely with the product groups to identify and optimize the performance to meet critical final device parameters to enable game changing products in the market.
• Partner closely with vendors to bring industry changing improvement opportunities to SMFAB in the form of PPH, Improved Cycle Time, Process Stability, and/or Equipment/Process Uptime.
