Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated in Sherman, TX, is seeking an Epi Process Development Engineer to own the development, integration, and qualification of Epi for LBC11 flows, enabling ramp from development to high-volume manufacturing. The Epi processes you develop will run on every wafer at SMFAB.

Qualifications

  • Lead Epi process and device improvements through experiments, data analysis and simulation.
  • Collaborate with process, integration, reliability, packaging and test engineers.
  • Identify and optimize performance to meet key device parameters.
  • Plan effectively, drive schedules, and meet deadlines across multiple tasks.
  • Interface with multiple organizations to communicate status clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Epi process and device improvements through characterization, test, design of experiments, data analysis and simulation.
  • Work with multiple process, integration, reliability, packaging and test engineers to achieve these goals.
  • Work closely with the product groups to identify and optimize performance to meet critical final device parameters to enable game changing products in the market.
  • Partner closely with vendors to bring industry changing improvement opportunities to SMFAB in the form of PPH, Improved Cycle Time, Process Stability, and/or Equipment/Process Uptime.
