Texas Instruments in Sherman seeks a PVD Process Development Engineer to own the development, integration, and qualification of PVD for the LBC11 flows, enabling TI's ramp to high-volume manufacturing. The Epi processes you develop will run on every wafer at SMFAB.

You will drive PVD improvements through characterization, design of experiments, data analysis and simulation, and work with cross-functional teams to meet critical device parameters and deliver game-changing products.

Responsibilities

• Drive PVD process and device improvements through characterization, test, design of experiments, data analysis and simulation
• Work with multiple process, integration, reliability, packaging and test engineers to achieve these goals
• Work closely with the product groups to identify and optimize the performance to meet critical final device parameters to enable game changing products in the market
• Partner closely with vendors to bring industry changing improvement opportunities to SMFAB in the form of PPH, Improved Cycle Time, Process Stability, and/or Equipment/Process Uptime
