Texas Instruments in Sherman seeks a PVD Process Development Engineer to own the development, integration, and qualification of PVD for the LBC11 flows, enabling TI's ramp to high-volume manufacturing. The Epi processes you develop will run on every wafer at SMFAB.
You will drive PVD improvements through characterization, design of experiments, data analysis and simulation, and work with cross-functional teams to meet critical device parameters and deliver game-changing products.
LBC11 Integration demands PVD processes that operate at nanometer precision: adding exactly the right material, at exactly the right process parameters, without disturbing localized films and area. At SMFAB in Sherman, these processes don’t yet exist in production form. You will build them. As a PVD Process Development Engineer in TI’s organization in Sherman, you will own the development, integration, and qualification of PVD for the LBC11 flows directly enabling TI's technology ramp from development to high-volume manufacturing. The Epi processes you develop will run on every wafer at SMFAB.
The person performing this role must be capable to plan effectively, drive schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries. They must be able to clearly communicate project status and actions. Additionally, they must be able to interface with multiple organizations and work well on a diverse team to accomplish goals.
