Atkore International seeks a Fabrication Operator for PVC pipe bending in Eugene. Roles include loading pipe, operating bending machinery, and ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards.

The position covers 1st shift 6:00pm–4:30am and 2nd shift 4:00pm–2:30am with a $18.75 per hour base pay and a $1.00 per hour shift differential for second shift. This role emphasizes quality control and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent, strong math for counting and calculations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Good understanding of basic math and numerical accuracy.
• High attention to detail, time management and organization.
• Shows initiative and adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machines and saws in Fabrication.
• Maintain safety, quality and production rates per machine goals.
• Perform QC checks on finished product and paperwork every two hours.
• Ensure correct quantities per box, pallet, part number and labels.
• Inform Shift Lead of safety infractions and low stock.
• Keep machines loaded and running and assist forklift personnel as needed.
