Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. is seeking a PV Solutions Engineer to drive technical sales and manage customer relationships in the North American market.

This role partners with product management, sales, marketing, R&D, and manufacturing quality to deliver profitable PV solutions for Community, Commercial, and Industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will lead pre-sales activities, ensure product certifications, and support the technology roadmap while traveling up to 20% to engage customers at

Qualifications

• BS or MS/PhD in Engineering or Physical Sciences required.
• Strong PV, inverter, racking, and BOS compatibility knowledge.
• Proven success in technical sales engineering or sales support.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and customer communication.
• Understanding of PV reliability testing, listings, codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales-focused technical solutions for CCI customers in North American PV market.
• Own the technical pre-sales process including compatibility, testing, certifications, MSA reviews, and site troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with R&D, product management, manufacturing to align roadmap and timelines.
• Ensure PV product introductions with third-party qualifications, listings, and documentation.
• Develop and manage customer relationships, handling inquiries, complaints, and claims.
• Influence design and product development to meet market needs.
• Provide product training and promote Qcells North America solutions to customers and sales teams.
• Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Contribute as an individual contributor for hands-on engineering tasks if needed.
