Job summary

Wing Group in Arcata, CA is seeking a Purchaser Lv.1 to ensure continuous supply of raw materials. You will manage purchase orders in NetSuite, plan inventory, and coordinate with Purchasing Lv.2 and Supply Chain teams to support production and deliveries.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving. On-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of related purchasing or inventory experience desirable.
• Proficient with computers; able to use Excel and Word with minimal training.
• Knowledge of NetSuite and Wing products preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and transmit purchase orders in NetSuite.
• Plan purchases using NetSuite planning reports and tools.
• Evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and history.
• Maintain vendor records and compliance documents in NetSuite.
• Assist Accounts Payable with billing inquiries and price changes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Materials, Shipping, and other teams to evaluate needs.
• Support production with scheduled builds.
