Job summary

Wing Inflatables in Arcata, CA is seeking a part-time Purchaser Lv.1 to ensure continuity of materials for production. You will write and transmit purchase orders in NetSuite, assist with planning and inventory, and collaborate with engineering, materials, and shipping to meet customer demand.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, proven data-entry skills, and familiarity with MS Excel and NetSuite; flexibility to support production and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computers; able to use database programs, Excel, and Word.
• Enter data accurately and on time in the MRP system (NetSuite).
• Strong math, problem solving and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Write and transmit purchase orders through NetSuite; update with changes.
• Plan purchases using NetSuite reports and collaborate to maintain inventory.
• Evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, and capability; maintain vendor records in NetSuite.
• Enter and maintain compliance requirements on purchase orders; scan pack slips and docs.
• Investigate discrepancies, shortages, overages, and perform return-to-vendor processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Materials, Shipping, and other teams to meet purchasing needs.
