Orchard-Rite Ltd, Inc. is seeking a Senior Purchaser III to lead strategic commodity categories, negotiate with key suppliers, and drive NetSuite/Kanban rollout across purchasing.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this role mentors junior buyers, leads cross-functional projects, and may stand in for the Purchasing Manager when needed. Five+ years in purchasing is preferred, with a BS in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
• Five+ years purchasing/procurement/supply chain experience required in discrete manufacturing.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Owns assigned commodity categories from sourcing through PO execution and supplier performance.
• Negotiates pricing, terms, lead times, and delivery commitments with suppliers and shippers.
• Monitors supplier performance against quality and delivery requirements; qualifies new suppliers.
• Expedites POs to maintain required quantities and optimize production.
• Maintains inventory data, lead times, safety stock, and supplier records in NetSuite.
• Leads NetSuite and Kanban rollout, including configuration, training, and adoption.
• Mentors Purchaser I/II and supports cross-functional projects.
