Job summary

World Class Industries in Hiawatha, IA is seeking an Operations/Inventory Associate to join our team. This role handles material transactions, ships orders, and maintains inventory in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete material transactions in a timely manner.
• Ship orders and maintain accurate inventory.
• Operate lift truck, weigh scales, pallet jacks as needed.
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory reporting.
• Relocate products physically and electronically.

What you’ll be doing:

• Completing material transactions in a timely manner
• Shipping orders
• Operating lift truck, weigh scales, sealer, pallet jacks, etc as needed
• Participating in cycle counts and managing inventory activities electronically
• Reporting, analyzing, and resolving errors in inventory
• Relocating products as needed both physically and electronically
• Standing, lifting, and reaching to move objects from position to position
• Lifting 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10-15 lbs. of force frequently
• Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, lifting, and reaching during shift
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education (required)
• Prior forklift certification or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in a variety of software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred)
