Job summary

CFS in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to streamline payment processing, contract preparation, and purchasing records in a fast-paced agricultural environment. This onsite role supports growers and internal teams, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation.

You will maintain and update purchasing files, review documents for completeness, and coordinate with departments to manage payments and contracts for upcoming growing seasons.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative, clerical, purchasing, or accounting support experience.
• Experience processing payments, contracts, or similar documentation preferred.
• Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Process loan payments for customers accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and process contracts for upcoming growing seasons.
• Maintain and update purchasing and contract records.
