Job summary

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing and Sales Support Coordinator to lead program initiatives for Governmental and Utility projects, coordinating priorities across teams and managing post-sale processes for equipment lines including Takeuchi.

The role ensures accurate orders, registrations, credits, and documentation, while driving alignment across purchasing, sales, and manufacturer programs; requires strong communication and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three+ years in a sales-related environment; purchasing experience preferred.
• Two+ years in heavy equipment industry preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with pricing, credits, rebates, program requirements, and docs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Communicates Kirby Smith vision and core values daily.
• Translates priorities into actionable plans and maintains monthly cadence with line managers.
• Monitor status of lines and escalate issues to Director as needed.
• Facilitate decision-making across purchasing, sales, and manufacturer programs.
• Manage risk related to program compliance, deadlines, and credits.
• Create and maintain project tracking for milestones and deadlines.
