The Purchasing Planner coordinates the procurement and distribution of materials, parts, equipment, and supplies for the organization.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear, required to frequently sit, stand; walk; gross hand and finger dexterity; occasionally reach outward with hands and arms; rarely climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently working in a conditioned office environment with commensurate noise levels, frequent sitting, occasional standing, and walking to navigate first and second level floors; fine hand-eye coordination and motor skills for keyboarding and manipulating papers and files. This position requires up to 25% travel a year.
