Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Inventory Control Manager in Santa Ana, CA to lead the Inventory Control team and drive accuracy, cycle counts, and compliance with GMP, HACCP, and traceability standards. You will partner with Operations, Finance, IT, and Quality to support ERP initiatives and deliver actionable insights.

The role requires 5–7+ years in inventory or supply chain with leadership experience and strong ERP/WMS expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, operations, information systems, or related field preferred.
• 5–7+ years of progressive inventory, supply chain, materials, or manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience supporting an ERP implementation, system conversion, or major ERP upgrade.
• Strong ERP/WMS experience; SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar preferred.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills with experience developing reports and dashboards.
• Strong analytical, technical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Spanish C2 (Mastery) and can convey technical concepts and material
• Bilingual: English/Spanish

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Inventory Control team and establish department goals and KPIs.
• Own inventory accuracy, cycle counting, physical inventories, reconciliation, and inventory controls.
• Analyze inventory variances, trends, and operational data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Serve as a key business partner for the new ERP implementation and go-live, including process mapping, testing, data validation, UAT, training, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure inventory master data, transaction flows, locations, units of measure, and system processes are accurate and maintained.
• Develop advanced reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide actionable inventory and operational insights.
• Partner with IT and business teams to resolve system issues and improve ERP/WMS functionality.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data integrity, and streamline inventory processes.
• Support inventory planning, working capital optimization, and reduction of excess, obsolete, and inaccurate inventory.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, SQF/BRC, FIFO/FEFO, and traceability requirements.
