Job summary

United Service Technologies, a Tech24 company in Buda, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support purchasing, inventory and administrative functions in our commercial kitchen equipment repair operations. You will help with parts ordering, records accuracy, and interdepartmental coordination.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in purchasing, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently within established processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ purchasing experience.
• Knowledge of purchasing concepts and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing commercial kitchen equipment parts, tools, and supplies
• Create, process, and track purchase orders
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status
• Track and follow up on open orders to ensure timely delivery
• Receive and verify incoming shipments; resolve discrepancies or damaged items
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and vendor records
• Support inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and reordering
• Coordinate with service technicians and operations staff to prioritize urgent parts needs
• Assist with vendor setup, documentation, and invoice reconciliation
• Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Assist with general administrative duties as needed to support the company’s success
• Provide administrative support to other departments, including dispatching, estimates, and customer care
• Assist with special projects and operational tasks as assigned
