Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation in Elmwood, LA is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to manage purchase orders, enter data, and assist with inventory and accounts payable. You will coordinate with the sales team and vendors to ensure timely processing and accurate records in a fast-paced office.

The role requires an associate degree plus relevant purchasing experience, with familiarity in GAAP and general ledger practices. Training provided; on-site work with no travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 5 years in purchasing, purchasing support, or purchasing administration or an equivalent combination
• Knowledge of GAAP
• General ledger experience
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in an open, fast-paced office environment

Responsibilities

• Track purchase orders from order placement through confirmation and delivery
• Provide timely updates on purchasing and order status
• Perform accurate data entry related to purchasing, warehouse inventory, and accounts payable
• Assist with scheduling receiving appointments
• Post inventory and help maintain accurate inventory records
• Assist with setting up payments to vendors
• Download daily inventory counts and support inventory control
• Run daily purchasing reports
• Communicate with the sales team regarding inventory status
