Job summary

Holland & Sherry Interiors, a trade-focused provider of high-end fabrics, wallcoverings, lighting, furniture and rugs, is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator in Owings Mills, MD.

You will manage purchasing operations with suppliers and clients, process orders, monitor shipping, handle invoices, and maintain product data. Strong Excel and communication skills are preferred; on-site hours Mon-Fri 8:45 AM–5:30 PM with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in purchasing or supply chain, preferably textiles/home industry.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Proficiency with Excel and order management systems.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Send purchase orders to suppliers per company policies.
• Monitor supplier orders and shipping status.
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve order issues.
• Track shipments, delays, and returns.
• Review supplier invoices and coordinate with accounting.
• Provide purchasing and shipping summaries to stakeholders.
• Maintain product code details.
• Assist communications for other purchasing departments.
• Process daily client orders and quotes.
• Update clients on orders and production timelines.
• Follow up on account balances and on-time payments.
• Coordinate with clients on pending and in-transit orders.
• Update pricing per contracts.
