Job summary

The Contractor Consultants seeks a Purchasing Coordinator to drive supply chain precision and cost efficiency for high-end audio visual installations. Base location is Wauwatosa, WI, with full-time hours and a 8:00 am – 5:00 pm schedule.

You will manage vendor relationships, procurement logistics, and cost management to support project profitability. Responsibilities include negotiating with manufacturers, tracking spend, issuing purchase orders, and monitoring deliveries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated purchasing/procurement experience.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills with proven supplier management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and in-house business software.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assess vendor capabilities and build relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and rebates with manufacturers.
• Analyze market trends and equipment lists to align with project scopes.
• Develop monthly spend budgets with Accounting to control expenditures.
• Issue purchase orders and process quotes in the ERP/record system.
• Track shipment ETAs, communicate progress, and resolve delivery variances.
• Conduct value engineering to optimize performance and cost.
