Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Salisbury, Maryland is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to coordinate, order, and record material handling for division projects. The role requires 2–5 years of logistics and ordering experience, strong record-keeping, and the ability to work both independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, order, and record material handling, placing product orders, receiving, storage, and record keeping for meeting needs of division projects.
• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
• Review all receiving reports, checks bills of lading and freight bills for correct quantity and items delivered. Document all shipments and withdrawals and inspect for damage or errors.
