Job summary

The Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee seeks an Accountant in the Purchasing Card section. The incumbent audits purchasing card charges in WORKS daily, uploads supporting documentation into Axiom Pro, and ensures receipts and invoices meet Purchasing Card guidelines and department policies.

You will use FLAIR, FIS, and My Florida Market Place for reporting and reconciliation, communicate through inboxes, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must use basic math skills to problem solve.
• Incumbent must have professional customer service skills to communicate with users.
• Must be proficient with Word, Excel, and database software.
• Clear understanding of auditing principles is required.

Responsibilities

• Audit purchasing card charges in WORKS daily.
• Upload supporting documentation from Works purchases into Axiom Pro.
• Ensure receipts/invoices meet Purchasing Card guidelines and departmental policies.
• Reconcile, maintain and communicate through Program Office/County Health Department inboxes.
