Job summary

Florida Department of Health is seeking an Accountant in the Purchasing Card section to audit purchasing card charges daily and manage documentation uploads to Axiom Pro. The role requires using FLAIR, FIS, and MFM systems, and maintaining clear communications with program offices and county health departments.

Applicants should have strong auditing knowledge, proficient Word/Excel skills, and excellent customer service. This position is based in Florida and includes standard state benefits.

Qualifications

• Must use basic math skills to problem solve.
• Incumbent must be able to use professional customer service skills to communicate with users.
• Preferred - Ability to use TEAMS, have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Audit purchasing card charges in WORKS daily.
• Upload supporting documentation from Works purchases into Axiom Pro.
• Assure receipts/invoices submitted meet the Purchasing Card guidelines, Reference Guide for State Expenditures, and Departmental policies.
• Reconcile, maintain and communicate through Program Office/County Health Department inboxes and perform other duties as assigned.
