Job summary

Qualified Staffing is seeking a Purchasing and Sourcing Associate for our client in Macon, GA. This role involves creating and tracking purchase orders, verifying pricing, quantities, terms, and delivery dates, and maintaining supplier records.

You will collaborate with inventory, sales, operations, and accounting to optimize purchasing, conduct spend analyses, and manage supplier relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong communication, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines, and priorities
• Ability to analyze purchasing and inventory data
• Purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, or inventory planning experience preferred
• ERP or inventory system experience preferred
• Demand planning, freight, or import/export knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create and track purchase orders, verifying pricing, quantities, terms, and delivery dates
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, production, shipping, and delivery
• Research suppliers and products to find reliable, cost-effective sourcing options
• Request and compare quotes, lead times, payment terms, and minimum order quantities
• Support supplier pricing discussions with cost and spend analysis
• Maintain supplier relationships and resolve order or delivery issues
• Keep supplier, product, pricing, and lead-time records accurate
• Review inventory, sales, forecasts, and lead times to recommend when and how much to order
• Coordinate purchasing needs with inventory, sales, operations, accounting, warehouse, and product teams
• Resolve purchase order, receipt, and invoice discrepancies, including shortages, damages, and freight charges
• Track supplier performance, costs, delivery, quality, and order accuracy
• Prepare purchasing, inventory, savings, and supplier performance reports
• Maintain purchasing records and follow approval procedures
• Support product launches, supplier changes, and purchasing improvement projects

Qualified Staffing is seeking a Purchasing and Sourcing Associate for our client in Macon, GA.

Available Positions: 1
Pay rate: $20/hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
