Job summary

Qualified Staffing is hiring for a Senior HR Generalist & Recruiter for our client in Macon, GA. This role leads full-cycle recruitment while partnering with leadership on onboarding, compliance, performance management, and policy administration to strengthen the employee experience and culture.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of combined HR generalist and recruiting experience, strong knowledge of employment law, and excellent communication. Travel may be required; multi-site work understood.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a combined HR generalist and recruiting role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and full-cycle recruiting.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing or multi-site workforce.
• This position may require extended travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, including manufacturing, technical, and professional positions.
• Develop job postings, source candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs.
• Build recruiting strategies to maintain compensation trends to support team members.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive and welcoming new hire experience.
• Support employee relations by providing guidance on policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies at all locations.
• Support HR initiatives such as engagement programs, internal communications, and retention strategies.
• Take ownership of metrics related to recruitment and KPIs related to Manager.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and generate reports as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks related to recruiting, employee files, and manager communications.
• Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platform to meet organizational goals.
• Assist with administering performance reviews, corrective actions, and policy updates.

Salary Range:

$70,000-$80,000/year

Job Summary:

The Senior HR Generalist & Recruiter plays a key role in building and supporting a strong, engaged workforce. This position leads full-cycle recruitment while also partnering with leadership and employees on key HR initiatives, including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and policy administration. As a trusted HR partner, this role helps identify and attract top talent, strengthen the employee experience, and foster a positive workplace culture aligned with company values. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on problem solver who builds strong relationships, communicates effectively, and can confidently balance the day-to-day needs of recruiting with broader HR responsibilities.
