Job summary

iENG Design, headquartered in Chesterfield, MO with Charlotte, NC operations, seeks a Purchasing Agent for its Charlotte office. The candidate will manage purchasing/receiving processes, coordinate with vendors and project managers, and ensure timely delivery of materials for multiple projects.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in purchasing, experience with Vista/Viewpoint is a plus, and strong organizational and communication skills to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing or related experience.
• Experience with Vista by Viewpoint is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process material and equipment rental purchase order requests daily.
• Select reliable suppliers based on quality and cost-efficiency.
• Enter and file purchase orders into Vista by Viewpoint.
• Coordinate with vendors to confirm delivery details and pricing.
• Reconcile vendor order acknowledgements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers for PO details.
• Coordinate with vendors and warehouse staff to confirm delivery.
• Obtain quotes from multiple vendors as needed.
