Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a procurement professional to manage materials purchases and coordinate activities supporting bids and project execution. You will request quotes, analyze vendor pricing and capacity, and negotiate as needed while preparing contracts and documentation.

The role requires monitoring budgets, schedules, and performance plans, working closely with estimators, CAD Technicians, and Project Managers to meet customer and company goals.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and drawings to confirm scope of work.
• Request quotes, analyze pricing, prepare contracts and process documentation.
• Actively develops budgets, schedules and performance plans to meet goals.
• Work with estimators, CAD Technicians and Project Managers.
• Interview vendors for price, availability and delivery schedules.
• Maintain procurement records (purchases, costs, delivery, quality).
• Prepare engineering instructions for shop drawing process.
• Communicate schedules and risks to the operations team clearly.
• Ensure estimates are complete and all risks are covered.
