The Purchasing Agent in the HVAC industry plays a critical role in ensuring that all materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects are procured efficiently, cost-effectively, and in a timely manner. This position involves collaborating closely with project managers, sales associates, field personal, local suppliers, to source HVAC equipment, materials, parts, and arrange pick-up and delivery to our shop or job sites.. The Purchasing Agent is responsible for sourcing products for the best price, managing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records to ensure accurate financials and reporting. By effectively managing supplier relationships and monitoring market trends, the Purchasing Agent helps minimize costs while ensuring uninterrupted business operations. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to the successful operation of the business by securing the necessary resources and maintaining supply chain integrity.
