Qualifications

• Previous purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience required.
• Experience purchasing electrical, metal, industrial, or manufacturing materials preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical materials strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand technical products and specifications.
• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Teams and internal Purchasing personnel to support procurement needs
• Research, compare, and select suppliers based on pricing, quality, availability, and delivery timelines
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
• Prepare and process purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve vendor issues
• Maintain detailed purchasing records, including quotes, order history, and vendor communications
• Process material returns (RMAs) and ensure timely vendor follow-up
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support ongoing business needs
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procurement standards

• Pay Rate: $19–$27/hour
