Position Overview:

We are seeking a Purchasing Agent for our Corporate Purchasing Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bidding on new projects, maintaining scopes of work, tracking blueprints and design changes, among other duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pre-qualify subcontractors
• Set up and monitor option costs and sales prices
• Maintain and update current budgets
• Distribute revised bids and obtain approval for any price increases
• Prepare direct costs analysis and variances for review
• Input original direct costs budgets
• Execute lot starts and verify all unit costs

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
